Who runs this site
VoxClone isn't a company — it's a small site kept alive by one person and a pile of scripts. The editor credited as "Azhe" handles the hands-on testing: audiobooks, podcasts and product-video voiceovers for clients, breaking more than a few tools along the way. That's how this site started.
Why it stays free and sign-up free
We tried a dozen similar tools and got tired of three things: you must register first, the free tier is metered by the second, and the terms quietly let them reuse your voice. So we inverted all three. No account, no email, and your audio is never used to train a model. The actual synthesis runs on open-source third-party engines; this site only queues the jobs and falls back when one fails.
How the articles get written
- Topics come from problems we actually hit, not from keyword spreadsheets.
- We try to reproduce each one: record a reference clip, export the files, log engine failures and timings.
- A first draft is AI-assisted, then rewritten by a human — details added, specs double-checked.
- We don't publish prices or specs we haven't verified. When we get something wrong, we fix it and update the date on the page.
Where we draw the line
Lawful use only: you must own the voice you clone, or have permission. We don't review or endorse any generated audio; if something infringes your rights, email us and we'll act.
